We are seeking a Skilled Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within steel industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning, maintenance, and uptime of critical electrical systems in our plant. Candidate with leadership skills and robust experience may be considered for Head of the Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain EHT 110 KV/22 KV Substation.
- Monitor and maintain critical equipment including induction furnaces, rolling mill, drives, DC motors, transformers, and HT/LT systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Carry out time-based, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations
- Maintain maximum uptime of plant and equipment through proactive efforts
- Work collaboratively with the team to resolve technical issues efficiently
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering
- 5 to 15 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in steel or foundry
- Experience working with 110 KV substation, induction furnaces, rolling mill, drives, DC motors, transformers, HT yard, DG sets, breakers, EOT cranes, compressors and motors
- Knowledge of PLC systems and electrical control systems
Compensation
- Salary: Rs. 7.2 to 18 LPA based on experience.
