Job Description & Responsibilities
Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles to develop new designs Create sketches, concepts, and design ideas for current collections Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for garments Develop prototypes and coordinate with pattern makers and sample teams Work closely with merchandisers and production teams to finalize designs Ensure designs meet brand identity, quality standards, and customer preferences Make design modifications based on feedback from buyers or management Prepare tech packs, measurements, and design specifications for production Monitor sampling and fitting to ensure proper garment construction Assist in planning seasonal collections and product development
