Accounts Executive – Import

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive – Import to manage import-related accounting activities, maintain financial records, coordinate with logistics and customs teams, and ensure timely payments and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Verify and process import invoices, Bills of Entry (BOE), and vendor bills.
- Prepare import cost sheets, including freight, customs duty, and other landed costs.
- Record import transactions in ERP/Tally/SAP.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and overseas suppliers.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and process payments.
- Maintain import documentation for audit and statutory compliance.
- Assist in GST compliance related to imports and Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- Reconcile bank payments, foreign remittances, and LC/TT transactions.




- Prepare MIS reports related to import expenses and shipments.
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting activities.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of import accounting and customs documentation.
- Basic understanding of GST and import taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP/SAP, and MS Excel.
- Valuable analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in Import Accounts or Finance.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Logistics, or Import-Export companies will be preferred.
