Design & Development of Bumper, Spoiler, Cladding, Grill & other components in Exterior Trims. Responsible for complete delivery by Coordination of activities and planning.
- Design reviews & feasibility feedback for Bumper, Spoiler, Cladding, Grill.
- Define engineering requirements in SORs, Technical review of the supplier.
- Evaluate alternate design options and Manufacturing process.
- Monitor Design verification plan and execution.
- PDM Activities, BOM, EWO & system maintenance. • APQP meeting with suppliers and CFT & responsible for ESO completion. • Benchmarking, Design review and DFMEA review of components
- Represent PE to other CFT to deliver program as per requirement.
- Validation - Durability and Reliability issues monitoring and resolution on Vehicles.
- Require basic knowledge of tooling to be used in design review & issue resolution.
- Parts development from SOR creation, testing to Quality support
- Quality/Warranty issues both predictive (during development) and reactive (Post Launch) • Root Cause Analysis of all the Engineering issues of testing, in plant or field issues
Preferred candidate profile
Experience in resolving the design, Development issues on-time and Quick First level analysis and in-depth root causing capabilities. Exposure to Cross-functional and multi-cultural working workplace. Good Team Player and comfortable to work in Plant environment
