About the Job:

The Procurement Executive – Packaging & Design will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of packaging materials while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external design agencies to develop innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality packaging solutions. The role focuses on vendor management, packaging development, cost optimization, inventory planning, and ensuring timely availability of packaging materials to support business operations and new product launches.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate sample development, vendor trials, and packaging approvals before commercial production.
- Source and procure packaging materials, including corrugated boxes, cups, containers, and other packaging consumables.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard current packaging vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliable supply.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative cost analyses, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, and finalize purchase orders.




- Develop and maintain strong relationships with packaging suppliers and ensure vendor performance meets quality and delivery standards.
- Work closely with internal or external design teams to ensure timely delivery of the packaging.
- Ensure packaging materials comply with food safety standards, FSSAI regulations, statutory labeling requirements, and company quality specifications.
- Conduct random quality checks (QC) on packaging batches received from vendors to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock shortages while minimizing excess inventory.
- Resolve vendor-related issues including quality concerns, delayed deliveries, and commercial disputes.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor contracts, packaging specifications, and procurement MIS reports.
