Job Summary
The Manufacturing Chemist will be responsible for executing manufacturing processes, ensuring batch consistency, maintaining product quality, and supporting process optimization for cosmetic and personal care products. The role requires close collaboration with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and R&D; teams to ensure smooth and compliant manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manufacturing batches as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor and control manufacturing parameters to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Perform raw material verification and ensure accurate weighing and dispensing.
- Support scale-up and commercialization of new formulations developed by the R&D; team.
- Maintain batch records, manufacturing logs, and production documentation accurately.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for in-process quality checks and product approvals.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Minimize process losses and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of manufacturing areas and equipment.
- Assist in validation activities, process optimization, and technology transfer.
