About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tanzu Support L2 (Senior Technical Specialist) to support, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise container platforms and application modernization environments.

The role involves working with VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and automation technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in application modernization and Kubernetes-based environments, along with the ability to work in a 24 7 enterprise support environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and support enterprise platforms for containerized applications.
- Deploy, configure, and manage VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes environments.




- Develop and implement platform components to support containers and microservices.
- Perform platform health checks and troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and application-related issues.
- Work with VMware Global Support Services (GSS) to troubleshoot and resolve issues in Tanzu environments.
- Deploy and orchestrate containers using VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, Docker, and related technologies.
- Build, update, and manage Docker images.
- Configure and manage configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chef.
- Build, maintain, and update CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other CI tools.
- Work with Git, Artifactory, Docker Registry, and other DevOps tools in globally distributed environments.
- Deploy and manage microservices using container orchestration platforms.
- Support application modernization initiatives and containerization projects.
