We are hiring a Data Engineer with 6+ years of experience to build and maintain data pipelines and Gen AI–powered data workflows on Google Cloud Platform. This is a hands-on individual contributor role in a fast-paced setting. The engineer is expected to deliver independently, communicate proactively, and meet deadlines.
Required Core Skills
- Strong Python (primary development language)
- Strong SQL
- Gen AI development using OpenAI APIs
- Chunking and embedding techniques for LLM/RAG workflows
- PostgreSQL, including pgvector for vector search
- Google BigQuery
- NoSQL / document databases (Firestore DB)
- Google Cloud Platform (hands-on)
- Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow (pipeline orchestration)
- Google Cloud Storage
- Docker (containerization)
- Git
Additional Skills Preferred
- API development with Python (FastAPI, Pydantic)
- API Authentication basics
- Familiar with Linux terminal
- Image, audio, and video processing in Python
