About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager – Blue Collar Recruitment to lead large-scale recruitment operations across Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in hiring blue-collar workforce and managing recruitment teams, along with a strong network of labour contractors, manpower suppliers, team leaders and placement agencies.
The role involves driving recruitment strategy, improving recruiter productivity and ensuring timely manpower deployment for client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end blue-collar recruitment operations across Mumbai.
- Manage and mentor a team of 5–6 recruiters.
- Develop sourcing channels through labour contractors, NGOs, ITIs, referrals, job fairs and community networks.
- Build relationships with team leaders capable of mobilising batches of 15–50 candidates.
- Ensure timely sourcing, interviews, offer roll-out, joining and onboarding.
- Monitor recruiter productivity and hiring targets.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations and client teams for manpower deployment.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly recruitment MIS reports.
- Improve hiring quality, joining ratio and overall recruitment efficiency.
Required Experience & Skills
- Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory).
- 7–12+ years of experience in blue-collar recruitment.
- Must have been living and working in Mumbai for the last 5 years.
