Job / Role:

The Area Manager Hydrotreater Unit is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all construction activities within the Hydrotreater Unit of a refinery or petrochemical project. The role ensures that civil, structural, mechanical, piping, equipment erection, electrical, instrumentation, and pre-commissioning activities are executed safely, within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all construction activities within the Hydrotreater Unit from site mobilization through mechanical completion.
- Develop and implement detailed execution plans aligned with the overall project schedule and construction sequence.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, static and rotating equipment, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Supervise and monitor EPC contractors, subcontractors, and field engineering teams to ensure adherence to project requirements.




- Ensure secure erection and installation of critical hydrotreater equipment such as reactors, heat exchangers, fired heaters, pressure vessels, compressors, pumps, columns, piping systems, and associated utilities.
- Monitor construction progress against project milestones and initiate corrective actions to recover delays.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, Planning, HSE, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review engineering drawings, method statements, construction procedures, and work packs before execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor productivity, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and material availability to optimize project performance.
