ABOUT THE ROLE

Ganpati Enterprises is looking for a finance skilled to take complete ownership of banking relationships, treasury, cash flow and management reporting. The role covers working capital and trade finance, import and export transactions, foreign exchange exposure and hedging in coordination with our forex advisors, budgeting and forecasting, and the tracking of receivables, payables and credit.

The person will be the single point of accountability for the financial control and reporting of the business, working directly with management to protect margins from interest and currency cost and to ensure that the business is never short of funds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Banking Relationships & Trade Finance
- Own day-to-day relationships with all banking partners — sanctioned limits,



renewals, documentation, stock and book debt statements, and periodic submissions.
- Manage the full range of working capital and trade finance instruments: cash credit and overdraft, buyer's credit, supplier's credit, packing credit, bill discounting, LC issuance and negotiation, bank guarantees and term loans.
- Negotiate interest rates, charges, margin and tenor with banks; benchmark offers across lenders and drive down the effective cost of funds.
- Evaluate financing options for new requirements and present comparative workings with the true landed cost of each option to management.

Foreign Exchange & Hedging
- Maintain a live position of all foreign currency exposures — imports, exports, buyer's credit and other liabilities — by currency and maturity.
