About the Opportunity

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS), UK, and Presidency University, Bengaluru, have partnered to deliver exclusive, internationally recognised postgraduate programmes including a two-week academic immersion in Scotland. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Career Counsellor to serve as the face of this collaboration: a trusted advisor who guides prospective students and their families from first enquiry through to confirmed enrolment.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of academia and industry, ideal for a counselling qualified who combines consultative selling skills with a genuine passion for shaping student careers.

What You Will Do

Student Counselling & Advisory
- Counsel prospective students and parents on the UWSPresidency MBA and PG programme portfolio, mapping their academic backgrounds and career aspirations to the right programme fit.
- Articulate programme structure, curriculum, fees, scholarships, international exposure, and career outcomes with clarity and confidence.

Admissions & Pipeline Management




- Own the complete admissions funnel — from enquiries generated via digital campaigns, walk-ins, events, and partner referrals through to enrolment and fee payment.
- Conduct counselling sessions across telephone, video, and in-person formats.
- Guide applicants through documentation and application completion, ensuring timely lead-to-admission conversion.
- Maintain accurate, real-time records in the CRM and produce regular pipeline reports.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Build enduring relationships with students, parents, and corporate clients, delivering a premium counselling experience at every touchpoint.
- Provide structured follow-up and hand-holding throughout the admission journey.

Outreach & Brand Building
- Represent the collaboration at education fairs, seminars, webinars, and campus events.
