Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Maintenance Planning: Design and execute long-term preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Team Leadership & Allocation: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of junior engineers, technicians, and contract workers. Delegate daily schedules and evaluate team performance.
- Root Cause & CAPA: Lead deep-dive investigation teams for critical equipment failures using tools like 5-Why Analysis or Fishbone diagrams. Implement robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Budgeting & Cost Optimization: Assist management in preparing the annual maintenance CAPEX and OPEX budgets. Identify opportunities to reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and increase MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- Vendor & Spare Management: Oversee critical spare parts inventory management via SAP/ERP systems. Manage annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) and negotiate with external vendors.
- Compliance & Safety Audits: Ensure the plant complies with standard statutory regulations, ISO certifications, and strict EHS (Setting, Health, and Safety) protocols.
