Job Description Senior Engineer / Executive CAPEX & Indirect Sourcing

Department: Purchasing / Supply Chain

Reporting To: Purchase Manager / Head Sourcing

Job Purpose - Manage complete procurement of CAPEX, MRO, indirect materials, consumables and services for all departments including Maintenance, Production, Quality, HR, Administration, IT, Stores, Finance and EHS while ensuring cost, quality and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Procure production machines, tooling, utilities, inspection equipment, civil and electrical projects.
- Handle indirect sourcing for Maintenance, Production, Quality, Stores, HR, Admin,



IT, Finance and EHS.
- Source MRO items, consumables, PPE, office supplies, calibration, AMC, fabrication, logistics and manpower services.
- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate commercially and release purchase orders.
- Develop suppliers, conduct evaluations and maintain vendor database. • Coordinate with internal departments for technical clarification and timely deliveries.
- Drive cost reduction, localization, value engineering and rate contracts.
- Monitor inventory, reduce emergency purchases and support audits.
- Track supplier performance, warranty and contract renewals.

Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Electrical/Industrial)
- MBA preferred
- 6 to 8 years in automotive/engineering procurement.
