We are looking for an experienced
RPG/400 Developer (AS/400 / IBM i Developer)
to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free Format RPG.
- Develop and support CL/CLLE programs.
- Work with DB2/400 databases and Embedded SQL.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Enhance existing applications and support production environments.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver quality solutions.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in IBM i (AS/400) application development.
- Strong knowledge of RPG/400, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, and CL/CLLE.
- Experience with DB2/400, Embedded SQL, DDS, and Query/400.
- Good understanding of SDLC and production support.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQLRPGLE.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, IBM MQ, and application modernization.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
