Purpose
As a member of the corporate controllership team, the Sr. Corporate Financial Analyst will support key centralized corporate accounting functions and compliance activities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for corporate ledgers utilizing our Plex ERP system.
- Prepare journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
- Develop timely and insightful financial reporting and analysis for multiple plants
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans for the business.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and work with external auditors as needed.
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in process improvements,
system enhancements and development of analytical tools to support a more streamlined financial reporting function and better analytics.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for corporate and each of the US-based facilities.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience.
- 5 years of experience in accounting field.
- At least 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or accounting firm.
- Experience in a large accounting firm preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems a must – experience with Plex is preferred.
