Job Summary

The High School English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality English language and literature instruction to students of Classes VIX (or IX–X depending on the campus), fostering strong communication, reading, writing, listening, and critical thinking skills. The teacher will prepare students for Board examinations and competitive assessments while promoting creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE/State Board curriculum.
- Teach English Grammar, Literature, Prose, Poetry, Supplementary Readers, and Writing Skills.
- Develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.




- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills through literature-based learning.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly lesson plans in accordance with the academic calendar.
- Conduct remedial classes, enrichment sessions, and revision programs to improve student performance.
- Integrate digital learning tools and interactive teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.

Student Assessment & Evaluation
- Prepare question papers, assignments, worksheets, quizzes, and projects.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve language proficiency and writing skills.
- Maintain accurate academic records, report cards, and assessment data.
- Analyze student performance and implement intervention strategies where required.
- Prepare students for Board Examinations and other academic assessments.
