Hospitality Operations Manager – Accelerated Track

About The Opportunity
This is an accelerated, hands-on leadership role at a growing lakefront lodge in Northern New Mexico. You will be part of a small team running a restaurant, bar, lodging operation, and event venue serving guests, weddings, and live music crowds.

This is not a traditional job — it is an
immersive experience designed to fast-track your development in hospitality management
.

If successful, this role extends beyond summer through the end of the year, culminating in our annual Recent Year’s Eve event – 7.5 month contract position.

Accelerated Track Overview
This role is designed for someone who wants to
learn every aspect of running a hospitality business
in a single season.

Position Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for
leading daily operations
, with primary responsibility for ensuring food service and overall execution run smoothly.

During peak summer months, this role is heavily involved in kitchen and service operations. As the season progresses, the role transitions into improving systems, supporting events, and helping scale the business.

You are not expected to stay in one role — you are expected to
learn and lead across all areas
.

Key Responsibilities
? Daily Operations
- Oversee and support all aspects of lodge operations
- Ensure smooth execution of restaurant, bar, and event service
- Step into any role as needed (kitchen, service, cleaning, guest support)

? Kitchen & Food Service Oversight
- Ensure consistent, efficient food execution
- Support prep and service during peak times
- Train and guide interns and team
