What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is modernizing our core networks to enable recent, groundbreaking products and technologies. These networks leverage virtualization and software defined networking and will transform how we provide products and service, and maintain our position as the industry leader. As part of this team,



you will play a meaningful role in our network transformation through building a unified network across all lines of business and maintaining the technology that keeps millions of our customers connected.
- Operating the best networks and systems through the technical expertise of the team and effective outage prevention/resolution.
- Creating required, and necessary orders in the system to drive purchase of equipment and services.
- Negotiating and coordinating overall project schedules for Engineering activities, Construction start and completion dates.
- Identifying, monitoring, reporting, escalating, and resolving technical issues encountered throughout the build process.
- Negotiating, coordinating, and driving completion of project milestones with all appropriate stakeholders.
- Facilitating and maintaining relationships with multiple service vendors, including pricing compliance, standards creation and compliance, and conducting quality reviews.
