Investment Back Office - Insurance - 10+ Years - Gurgaon

We are seeking an experienced investment operations professional to lead investment back-office management, transaction settlements, accounting, reconciliations, compliance, reporting, and treasury operations. The role requires strong expertise in investment accounting, regulatory compliance, operational governance, and team leadership within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end settlement of investment transactions across multiple asset classes while ensuring adherence to market timelines, regulatory requirements, and counterparty service standards.
2. Oversee investment transaction accounting within the Investment Management System (IMS), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Establish and maintain robust reconciliation frameworks to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.
4. Review, approve, and release Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations while ensuring governance controls and reporting accuracy.
5. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end investment closing activities in coordination with finance and other stakeholders.
6. Oversee Forward Rate Agreement (FRA) transactions and hedge accounting processes, including valuation, effectiveness testing, documentation, and accounting treatment.

Requirements

1. 10–14 years of experience in investment operations, investment back office, treasury operations, or related financial services functions.
2. Strong understanding of investment accounting, post-trade operations, and financial reporting.
3. Knowledge of insurance investment regulations and compliance requirements.
