Academics:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and master’s degree in Geotechnical engineering or Rock Mechanics specialization to join our dynamic team.
Role description:
- This position is ideal for recent postgraduates who are eager to build their career in the field of geotechnical profession.
- Understanding of principles of soil, rock, and groundwater engineering and application of them on real time and understanding of standards is required;
- Knowledge and experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, GeoSlope (Slope/w & Seep/w), Plaxis2D and FE,
FDM and LEM gained through academic coursework or professional project work—will be an advantage.
- General software skills such as Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), AI tools (Chat GPT, CoPilot and other tools) are an added advantage.
- Experience working on relevant projects during academics is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Having apatite to learn current AI tools and support on digitization and automation of regular works as an added advantage
Role accountabilities:
- Design of geotechnical foundation systems, analyzing the Ground investigation data, data management using software tools and earth retention system
- Demonstrate a sound theoretical understanding of design principles.
- Experience using relevant software is an added advantage.
