Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate and creative Video Editor to join the Dainik Bhaskar Entertainment team.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Solid understanding of Entertainment News, Bollywood, OTT, celebrity culture, and trending topics.
- Excellent news sense with the ability to identify the most impactful visual moments and edit accordingly.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and an understanding of audience retention.
- Good music sense and the ability to use background scores effectively.
- Hands-on experience in editing content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Shorts, and news platforms, with an understanding of how each platform requires a different editing style.
- Understanding of hooks, pacing, thumbnails, captions,



and editing techniques that maximize reach and engagement.
- Basic knowledge of AI tools for video editing and content creation.
- Fast editing speed without compromising quality.
- Disciplined, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom.
- No issues with shift timings or rotational shifts.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments efficiently.

Preferred candidate profile
- Prior experience in a digital news or entertainment media organization will be preferred.
