Specialist I – Information Security

We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst for a leading MNC in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with technology teams for security assessments as part of BAU processes.
- Work with Technology Asset Owners (TAOs) to assess and implement security controls.
- Perform security assessments to identify risks and ensure compliance as per SOPs.
- Track remediation activities and follow through until closure.
- Conduct periodic compliance assessments proactively.
- Manage JIRA workflow tickets and maintain BAU operations.
- Prepare and maintain knowledge documentation in Confluence/Collaborate.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Communicate assessment findings and remediation plans with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience




- 5–10 years of experience in Technology Risk Management (TRM), IT Audit, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.
- Good understanding of IT compliance, audit, and regulatory processes.
- Knowledge of technology risk management principles, internal controls, and security frameworks.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and/or Archer.
- Functional knowledge of:
- Windows/Unix Operating Systems
- Databases & Networks
- Firewalls, LDAP, Active Directory, Cloud Technologies
- Authentication, Authorization, APIs
- Logging & Monitoring
- Application Architecture & Design
- Data Classification & Application Criticality
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Project Management experience is an added advantage.

Education
- Degree or Diploma in IT or a related Technology stream.
- Industry-recognized certifications in Microsoft, Cloud, IT Security, or related technologies are preferred.
