Most of what we build is agentic at its core: agents, multi-agent systems, tool use, and workflows that run reliably without a human watching over them.
THE ROLE
You will co-own a project with another builder on the team. Together you take it from spec to production. This is not a task-taker role that waits for tickets. Both of you carry the outcome.
This is a part-time or contract engagement on a project basis. It suits an experienced developer who wants focused, well-defined work alongside their other commitments, or a strong intern who wants to build serious things and get real ownership early.
You will work closely with the founder and have room to make technical calls.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Building and shipping a full project from spec to production.
- Backend services, APIs, and data models that hold up under real usage.
- Frontend that is clean and functional, built in React.
- Designing and integrating AI agents into the product, including agentic and multi-agent flows.
- Making the tradeoff calls on architecture, tooling, and scope, and explaining your reasoning.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js
, or an equivalent backend framework.
- Solid grasp of
system design
: how to structure services, handle state, and keep things reliable.
- Database design and query optimization
. You should know why a query is slow and how to fix it.
- Comfort with
AI-native development tools and coding workflows
. You use them daily and know where they help and where they get in the way.
- The ability to drive work without hand-holding while collaborating closely with a co-owner.
- Transparent communication. You flag blockers early and keep work visible.
