Position: Cost Controller - Associate/Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller with experience in the hotel or hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring food and beverage costs, inventory management, cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies to improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits.
- Verify purchase orders, goods received notes (GRNs), and supplier invoices.
- Analyze consumption, wastage, and variance reports.
- Prepare daily food cost, beverage cost, and cost variance reports.
- Ensure proper stock movement and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, Kitchen, and Finance teams.




- Monitor recipe costing, menu costing, and portion control.
- Support month-end closing activities related to inventory and cost.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the hotel, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
- Solid knowledge of inventory management, food costing, and beverage costing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/POS systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with hotel accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
