We are looking for an experienced nurse who can independently care
for a healthy 3-month-old infant during the night while also supporting
the baby’s mother as she transitions back to work.The ideal candidate combines strong clinical knowledge with warmth,
patience, excellent judgement and genuine love for infants.
Responsibilities
Infant Care
- Monitor the baby throughout the night
- Assist in establishing healthy sleep routines
- Soothe and comfort the baby during night awakenings
- Bottle-feed or assist with feeding as instructed
- Burp and settle the baby after feeds
- Monitor feeding patterns
- Maintain diaper hygiene
- Observe temperature, breathing and general wellbeing
- Recognize early signs of illness and immediately escalate
concerns
- Maintain feeding, sleep and diaper logs if required
Developmental Activities
Support age-appropriate developmental routines including:
- Baby massage
- Bathing assistance
- Tummy time
- Baby gym activities
- Sensory play
- Reading and interaction
- Developmentally appropriate stimulation
Mother Care
Support the mother by: Ensuring medications are taken on schedule
- Ensuring nutritional supplements are not missed
- Encouraging hydration
- Monitoring overall wellbeing
- Helping create an uninterrupted night’s sleep whenever possible
- Escalating any health concerns promptly
Household Coordination
- Maintain cleanliness of baby’s immediate setting
- Sterilize feeding equipment where applicable
- Assist with baby’s laundry if required
- Maintain organized baby supplies
- Coordinate respectfully with family members and domestic staff
Qualifications
Preferred: B.Sc. Nursing
OR: ANM/ GNM / Diploma in Nursing with strong practical experience
