Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the HR Operations and Payroll function, ensuring efficient, compliant, and employee-centric service delivery across the employee lifecycle.
- Own end-to-end payroll governance, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing through effective oversight of payroll inputs, validations, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and vendor management.
- Drive adherence to service levels (SLAs), operational KPIs, and process quality standards across HR Operations and Payroll.
- Ensure the integrity, governance, and quality of employee master data across HR systems through strong data management practices and periodic audits.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on budgeting, headcount governance and statutory reporting.




- Lead internal and external audits related to HR Operations and Payroll and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA / PGDM or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Human Resources.
- 812 years of experience in HR Shared Services and Payroll, with at least 2-4 years of experience leading teams.
- Solid experience managing outsourced payroll operations in a large, multi-location organization.
- Good understanding of payroll regulations, statutory compliance, taxation, and labour law requirements.
- Hands-on experience with leading HRMS platforms.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with HR, Finance, IT, Audit, and business leadership.
