Conduct practical classes, demonstrations, and tutorials for undergraduate dental students.
- Assist faculty members in delivering lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical teaching.
- Supervise students during pre-clinical and clinical postings.
- Demonstrate dental procedures and ensure students follow standard clinical protocols.
- Maintain attendance, practical records, logbooks, and assessment records.
- Assist in conducting internal assessments, examinations, and evaluations.
- Participate in departmental research activities and academic projects.
- Provide patient care under the supervision of senior faculty, where applicable.
- Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of laboratory and clinical equipment.
- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in community outreach programs, camps, seminars, workshops, and continuing dental education (CDE) activities.
- Perform any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department or the Principal.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized university.
- Valid registration with the State Dental Council/Dental Council.
Experience
- Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant teaching or clinical experience may be considered, as per institutional norms.
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of dental sciences and clinical procedures.
