Position Overview

Wings Biotech LLP is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Head / General Manager Purchase / AGM Purchase / Senior Manager Purchase to lead and manage the company's end-to-end procurement and purchase function. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, negotiations, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the complete Purchase & Procurement function, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement as per business and production requirements.

2. Handle procurement and sourcing of APIs, Excipients, Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), Consumables, Machinery, Lab Chemicals, Lab Instruments, Engineering Items, Spares, and other Pharma-related materials.

Develop and maintain a strong network of reliable and approved vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers.

4. Identify current vendors, evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.

5. Lead price negotiations, rate contracts, annual procurement agreements, payment terms, credit periods, and cost-saving initiatives with suppliers.

6. Ensure procurement is aligned with quality standards, approved vendor lists, specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal company policies.

7. Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), R&D;, Regulatory, Warehouse, Engineering, Finance, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials.

8. Monitor purchase planning, inventory levels, lead times, material availability, and critical stock requirements to avoid production interruption
