Role & responsibilities

Store Operations
- Receive raw materials and verify them against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), and invoices.
- Perform incoming material inspection for quantity, physical condition, and basic quality checks before acceptance.
- Record all inward and outward material transactions accurately in the ERP system or store registers.
- Issue raw materials, bought-out parts, consumables, and tools to production as per authorized material requisitions.
- Maintain proper storage, identification, and labeling of materials.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock verification and cycle counting.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate material shortages to the Purchase team.

Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the store.

Purchase Coordination
- Coordinate with the Purchase team to track material orders and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with vendors for timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
- Visit vendors to review production status, inspect material readiness (where applicable), and expedite deliveries.




- Coordinate with suppliers regarding shortages, quality issues, rejected materials, and replacement requirements.
- Assist in preparing purchase-related documentation and maintaining vendor records.
- Support the Purchase department in obtaining quotations, comparing offers, and updating order status when required.

Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), stock registers, issue slips, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Purchase departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Assist during internal and external inventory audits.
- Follow company procedures related to inventory control, purchasing, and material handling.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of store operations, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
- Understanding of engineering raw materials, bought-out components, and fabrication items is
