About the role
We are growing ShiftingHub's organic search presence across 40+ city pages on our Next.js site. As a small, bootstrapped team, we can offer something bigger companies can't: real traffic data and real decisions, not case studies.
What you'll do
Do keyword research and check what competitors are doing on city pages
Find and fix technical SEO issues like duplicate content, canonical tags and redirects
Set up and check schema markup (LocalBusiness, FAQPage, etc.)
Track rankings and traffic using Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
Help improve on page content
Help maintain our city by city SEO tracker
Who can apply
Freshers and students welcome. No specific degree needed.
Know the basics of SEO, whether self taught or through a course
Comfortable with (or willing to learn) Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush and basic HTML
Comfortable using AI tools for keyword research, content briefs and analysis
Positive with data, can work independently and remotely
Okay with this being unpaid. We are upfront about that from the start.
