Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on comprehensive test plans with minimal direction
- Develop and maintain automation tests that adhere to test plans
- Apply creative software engineering skills to a mixture of new and existing technologies to increase testing automation
- Train and mentor others in testing methodologies for diverse software systems
- Oversee bug reporting, tracking and communication with development teams
- Ability to analyze failures to find root cause, and follow-up with development team to resolution.
- Optimize test programs to reduce test times by improving the efficiency of the testing methods
- Develop and publish metrics for test process
- Develop and monitor process and metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of test plans

Key Skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in QA
- Strong expertise in both manual and automated testing,



with a proven track record of implementing successful testing strategies.
- Valuable to have experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and their impact on the QA process.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
