Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant are to support the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, manage complex general ledger and revenue accounting activities, and ensure revenue is properly recognized in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS. This role encompasses the responsibilities of partnering cross-functionally with Sales, FP&A;, Legal, and operations, performing technical accounting research, supporting audits and reporting requirements, and maintaining strong internal controls. The Senior Accountant will also identify process improvements, drive automation, use advanced data and reporting tools,



and provide guidance to junior accounting team members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Executes month-end close activities, including the accurate and timely recording of revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and related journal entries in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Company policy, ASC 606, and IFRS 15
- Prepares and reviews complex balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, including revenue, deferred revenue, contract assets and liabilities, billings, accounts receivable, and other technical accounts
- Reviews recent and existing customer contracts, addendums, sales orders, and non-standard terms to determine proper revenue recognition treatment and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Serves as a revenue accounting resource for Sales, FP&A;, Legal, and business stakeholders during contract negotiation by evaluating revenue impact, communicating
