Role Overview

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing who is growth-first, offline-solid, and digitally fluent. This is not a pure brand role. We need someone who understands how to drive acquisition, retention, repeat, and membership growth in a mass-market retail business, while also bringing enough brand instinct to shape how we are perceived by customers.

The ideal person combines offline/shopper marketing depth, digital/CRM rigour, and creative instinct. They know how to build for Bharat consumers, create campaigns that travel, and translate business goals into sharp execution across channels.

This is a high-impact leadership role working closely with the founders.
What You’ll Own
- Own growth marketing end-to-end across offline, digital, CRM, loyalty/membership, and brand.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, repeat purchase, and engagement across stores and digital channels.




- Build and scale our membership and loyalty engine, including value proposition, offers, communication, and repeat loops.
- Lead offline and shopper marketing initiatives tailored to Tier 3–5 customers and local market realities.
- Own digital performance and CRM, with strong focus on funnel thinking, experimentation, and metrics.
- Develop creative campaigns that can generate virality, salience, and customer recall, not just efficient media spends.
- Shape messaging and copy that resonates with a mass-market, local customer base, rather than premium or metro-first audiences.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, analytics, store ops, category, and leadership teams to drive business outcomes.
- Build and lead the marketing team across digital/CRM, offline, and brand as the function scales.
