Job Summary

The Shift Supervisor Line Assembly & Production is responsible for supervising assembly line operations during the assigned shift to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency are achieved. The role involves managing production operators, coordinating workflow, resolving issues, and maintaining smooth production activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Supervision

l Supervise daily assembly line operations during the assigned shift.

l Ensure production targets, schedules, and KPIs are achieved.

l Monitor line productivity, efficiency, and downtime.

l Allocate manpower and resources effectively.

2. Team Management

l Lead, guide, and motivate production operators and technicians.

l Conduct shift briefings and communicate production goals.





l Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and performance.

l Provide training and support for new operators.

3. Quality Control

l Ensure products meet required quality standards.

l Monitor in-process inspections and quality checkpoints.

l Coordinate with the Quality team for issue resolution.

l Implement corrective actions for defects or non-conformities.

4. Safety & Compliance

l Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.

l Maintain protected working conditions on the production floor.

l Report incidents, hazards, and safety violations.

l Promote a culture of workplace safety.

5. Production Reporting

l Maintain shift production reports and documentation.

l Record production output, downtime, rejections, and manpower utilization.

l Communicate shift updates to the next shift supervisor and management.

6. Process Improvement

l Identify production bottlenecks and inefficiencie
