About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Operations Leader to manage large-scale Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for global clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finance & Accounting operations, extensive experience leading large teams, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, process transitions, and stakeholder management in a shared services or global business services workplace.
This role requires an individual who can lead complex engagements, establish governance frameworks, manage client relationships, and build high-performing teams while ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and service delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Lead one or more large and complex Finance & Accounting engagements within a financial services operations environment.
- Manage multiple mid-sized engagements independently while ensuring delivery excellence.
- Oversee end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) operations for US-based clients from India.
- Ensure achievement of SLAs, KPIs, productivity, quality, and compliance metrics.
- Drive operational efficiency through continuous process improvement initiatives.
Team Management
- Lead and manage large delivery teams comprising 35–50+ professionals.
- Build, mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Drive employee engagement, succession planning, and performance management.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet business and client requirements.
Transition & Transformation
- Lead end-to-end finance process transitions from client locations to offshore delivery centers.
- Establish and scale Centers of Excellence (CoE) for Finance
