Key Responsibilities & Legal Expertise
- Proficient in managing revenue records for both agricultural and converted lands, ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory norms.
- Fluent in Kannada (written and verbal) for seamless communication with clients, government bodies, and internal teams.
- Skilled in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents, including:
- Sale Deeds
- General Power of Attorney (GPA)
- Special Power of Attorney (SPA)
- Sale Agreements
- Partition Deeds
- Release Deeds
- Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
- Expertise in examining the flow of title and verifying ownership history to ensure clear and marketable title.
- Robust working knowledge of key property laws, especially:
- Karnataka Land Reforms Act
- Land Revenue Act
- SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act (as applicable to land transactions)
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to land, property, and regulatory matters.
- Provide sound legal advice and strategic guidance on land disputes, transactions, and compliance.
- Draft legal opinions, memos, and briefing notes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support dispute resolution processes, including legal strategy formulation and settlement negotiations.
- Ensure implementation and monitoring of all contractual and legal clauses relevant to operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and also perform well independently when required.
