Job Title : MEP Head

The Head of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) for malls manages the entire life cycle of complex mall systems—from design, budgeting, and tender to installation, commissioning, and maintenance—ensuring compliance with codes, quality standards, and timelines, acting as the key liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors for seamless project delivery and operational efficiency. This role requires deep technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, fire safety, plumbing, and ELV systems, strong leadership, budget control, risk management, and excellent stakeholder coordination for large-scale commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Project Leadership: Lead planning, design, execution, and handover of all MEP systems for new builds, retrofits, or expansions.

· Technical Oversight: Serve as the primary technical authority, ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and best practices for HVAC,



electrical, plumbing, fire, and ELV systems.

· Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central point of contact between clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors, resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment.

· Budget & Schedule Management: Develop, track, and manage MEP budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery.

· Quality & Compliance: Conduct site inspections, review design documents, approve contractor submissions, and ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.

· Tendering & Procurement: Oversee the tendering process, analyze bids, review contracts, and manage vendor mobilization.

· Operations & Maintenance: Oversee testing, commissioning, and establishment of permanent utilities (power, water), and provide technical support for ongoing operations.
