About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Microservices Development Engineer to join our US-based engineering team. This role is ideal for an accomplished software engineer with deep expertise in Java, Microservices, and distributed systems who enjoys designing and building scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures, possess strong technical leadership capabilities, and thrive in a team-oriented Agile environment. You will work closely with architects, product managers, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Microservices architecture.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Develop cloud-native applications following modern engineering best practices.




- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy and solution design.
- Review code, establish development standards, and promote engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding practices.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of hands-on software development experience.
