About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to build and scale robust backend systems that power technology products used by millions of students, teachers, and government stakeholders across India.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, writing high-quality production code, and designing systems that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable. You will work closely with the founders, product managers, AI/ML engineers, and the broader engineering team to deliver mission-critical features and improve the performance of large-scale education platforms.

Beyond implementation, you will be expected to take ownership of system architecture, technical decision-making, production reliability, and engineering best practices. You will mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and help establish a culture of technical excellence while remaining an active contributor to the codebase.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
- Write clean, effective, well-documented, and thoroughly tested production-quality code.
- Design and implement scalable system architectures capable of supporting high-traffic education platforms.
- Build and optimize APIs, databases, caching mechanisms, message queues, background processing, and cloud-based deployment workflows.
