Position Overview

The Pre-Primary Coordinator plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the smooth functioning and academic excellence of the Pre-Primary Wing (Nursery to UKG). The Coordinator is responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring curriculum implementation while mentoring teachers and creating a nurturing, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, parents, and school leadership to ensure the holistic development of every child.

Key Responsibilities1. Curriculum Planning & Implementation

Develop, plan, and oversee the implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans, annual planners, and classroom activities in accordance with the CBSE curriculum guidelines for pre-primary education. Ensure a balanced approach towards cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.

2. Academic Supervision & Technology Integration

Guide and support teachers in preparing lesson plans, assignments, assessment sheets, worksheets, and teaching-learning materials.



Ensure effective use of technology in classroom teaching and educational planning.

3. Classroom Observation & Management

Regularly observe classroom teaching to maintain high academic standards. Ensure classrooms are well-organized, child-friendly, safe, and conducive to active learning. Support teachers in maintaining positive classroom management practices and discipline.

4. Child Development & Assessment

Monitor children's overall growth and development through regular assessments and classroom observations. Guide teachers in identifying students requiring additional support and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented.

5. Parent Communication

Maintain robust communication with parents through orientation programmes, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and regular progress updates. Address parent concerns professionally and foster positive school-home partnerships.
