We are looking for a skilled F5 Engineer to design, implement, and support application delivery and security solutions using F5 BIG-IP platforms. The role involves managing load balancing, application security, high availability, and performance optimization across enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP load balancers (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, ASM).
- Perform L2-level support for production incidents, ensuring timely resolution.
- Implement and validate F5 configurations, including virtual servers, pools, iRules, and SSL certificates.
- Collaborate with L3 teams for complex escalations and root cause analysis.
- Apply firmware upgrades, patches, and security fixes as per compliance standards.
- Assist in capacity planning, performance optimization, and log analysis.
- Work on F5 iRules and automation scripts (e.g., using Bash, Python, or Ansible).
- Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and solutions for knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for network and application integration.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Qualifications we seek in you
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in designing, deploying, and managing large-scale enterprise F5 networks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- 6–10 years of experience in managing F5 Load Balancers (BIG-IP LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, ASM).
- Solid knowledge of F5 iRules, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S,
