We are a Chartered Accountant firm having offices in Palwal and Faridabad providing accounting, taxation, GST, income tax, audit, and compliance services to businesses across various industries. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant cum Tax Assistant to join our team.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting
- Prepare and maintain complete books of accounts, including Journal, Cash Book, Bank Book, Purchase Register, Sales Register, and General Ledger.
- Pass accounting entries for receipts, payments, journal vouchers, contra entries, and adjustment entries.
- Create and maintain Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Cost Centres, and Inventory Masters.
- Perform periodic Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Record and reconcile cash transactions and petty cash expenses.
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Record GST-compliant purchase and sales transactions.
- Verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility and reconcile with GSTR-2B.




- Match GST data with accounting records.

Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.).
- Record TDS deductions and ensure correct accounting treatment.
- Prepare TDS working sheets for quarterly return filings.

Client Visits
- Visit client premises on a weekly basis for accounting and bookkeeping work.
- Collect accounting records, invoices, bank statements, and other financial documents.
- Update books of accounts at client locations whenever required.
- Coordinate with client representatives for timely completion of accounting and compliance work.

General Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of client financial information.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants and senior team members.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work within deadlines.
- Stay updated with changes in GST, Income Tax, and accounting regulations.
