5 8+ years of experience in finance transformation, process reinvention, operational excellence, business transformation or controllership roles
Robust domain expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and financial close cycles
Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification is required
Strong background in process mapping, business analysis, and change management
Deep expertise in managing and analyzing financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, overseeing budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance with regulations/US GAAP principles
Hands-on experience in designing Manual journal entries processes, financial templates, and Chart of Accounts structures
Experience with methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred), Design Thinking, or BPM
Proven ability to document, analyze, and redesign finance processes in a structured and scalable way
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.), finance technology tools (Kyriba, Webi, Blackline, etc.)



and process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, ARIS, Signavio)
Track record of delivering measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, or customer experience

Preferred Attributes
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
Knowledge of finance transformation frameworks or methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
Extensive experience in digital transformation or automation technologies (e.g., RPA, workflow tools, AI/ML applications)
Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to influence senior finance stakeholders
Post-graduation (MBA) from top IIMs / IITs will be highly preferred
