Role & responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Ignition Perspective.
- Configure and manage Ignition Gateway, including tags, UDTs, templates, views, alarms, reports, dashboards.
- Implement Python scripts for automation, event handling, messaging, API integration, database integration and scheduled tasks.
- Integrate Ignition with PLCs, sensors, and edge devices using OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, etc.
- Document project architecture, code, scripts, and system configurations.
- Software development best practices with Git, Docker, AI use cases.

Preferred candidate profile
- 1-6 years experience in Ignition programming.
- PLC platforms experience preferred: Allen-Bradley and Codesys.
- Understanding of Electrical Schematics, instrumentation, and control concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable automation solutions.
- Solid ability to solve problems and research solutions with an excellent customer service attitude, attention to detail.
- Pune or nearby candidates preferred.
