is looking for a proactive and dedicated
Safety Officer / EHS Executive
to strengthen workplace safety, ensure statutory compliance, and foster a zero-accident safety culture within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial or factory safety and possess robust knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities1. Shop Floor Safety Monitoring & Enforcement
- Conduct daily shop floor inspections to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and hazardous areas.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements for employees and contractors.
- Monitor and enforce High-Risk Safety Standards across plant operations.
- Ensure adherence to established safety procedures and best practices.
2. Risk Assessment & Safety Audits
- Prepare, review, and update Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) documents.
- Conduct weekly and monthly internal safety audits and track corrective actions.
- Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system for activities such as:
- Hot Work
- Work at Height
- Electrical Isolation (LOTO)
- Confined Space Entry
- Verify compliance before issuing and closing work permits.
3. Statutory Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain all statutory safety registers and records in compliance with the Factories Act, 1948 and applicable Maharashtra DISH regulations.
- Coordinate periodic inspection and certification of lifting tools, pressure vessels, hoists, and other statutory equipment through authorized Competent Persons.
