Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud Developer
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and data-centric Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) & Data Cloud Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for building highly personalized customer journeys and managing enterprise-level data architectures. You will bridge the gap between marketing automation and advanced data engineering by configuring data ingestion pipelines, establishing unified customer profiles in Data Cloud, and activating those insights into real-time, cross-channel SFMC journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign & Journey Development: Design, configure, and execute end-to-end multi-channel customer lifecycles using Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio.
- Data Cloud Architecture & Ingestion: Configure data streams to ingest data into Salesforce Data Cloud from various sources (Salesforce CRM, Amazon S3, Web/App SDKs, MuleSoft, and external data lakes).
- Data Modeling & Identity Resolution: Map ingested data to the Customer 360 Information Model.
Establish and fine-tune Identity Resolution rules to create unified individual profiles across disparate systems.
- Calculated Insights & Segmentation: Create complex Calculated Insights (CI) and Streaming Insights using SQL. Build advanced, high-performance audience segments within Data Cloud and activate them directly to SFMC and other downstream channels.
- Agile Personalization: Write advanced AMPscript and SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript) to drive hyper-personalized email content, conditional logic, and dynamic landing pages.
- Data Management & Automation: Create and maintain relational Data Extensions and automation workflows. Write optimization-focused SQL queries within SFMC Automation Studio and Data Cloud for data transformations and hygiene.
- System Integration: Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot the connector between Core Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud (via Marketing Cloud Connect).
