Job Location: Umbergaon

Job Title: Manager-Store & Despatch

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise all Store & Despatch operations, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials.

2. Oversee material inward activities, including receipt of PO materials, customer free-issue materials, sales returns, and inter-warehouse transfers.

3. Ensure quantity verification against Purchase Orders and challans, and coordinate with the Quality team for inspection of incoming materials.

4. Ensure timely generation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), ERP updates,



and submission of inward documents to Purchase and Accounts.

5. Oversee material issue to Production against approved Material Issue Notes and ensure accurate ERP entries for all outward transactions.

6. Ensure proper handling and dispatch of rejected materials, vendor returns, and customer return materials with complete documentation.

7. Maintain an organized store by implementing proper item coding, bin locations, labeling, FIFO/FEFO practices (where applicable), and protected material storage.

8. Maintain optimum inventory levels by monitoring minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels to support uninterrupted production.

9. Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits while ensuring physical stock matches ERP records.

10. Monitor inventory discrepancies, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions to minimize losses and pilferage.
