Officer, Quality Assurance & Ecology

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship

· First contact person for all inquiries from staff in M-Asia offices, and suppliers concerning technical, functional and quality standards

· Uphold valuable and smooth cooperation, continuous communication and data exchange with all internal and external stakeholders

· Build up and maintain good and supportive relationships with Migros staff, Quality Teams in Headquarters, suppliers and service providers

· Providing reporting / information flow to the superior

Sustainability (Near Non-Food)

· Assure ongoing compliance with Migros label and standard requirements on all levels

· Implementation of label and standards in the supply chain of M-Asia according to strategy / KPIs

· Support suppliers in the implementation and fulfilment of new label programs

· Monitoring of all projects and ensuring on time implementation

Quality Assurance

· Planning and overlooking of assigned assurance activities of M-Asia





· Assure ongoing compliance with Migros quality and industry regulatory requirements

· Ensure communication of Migros quality requirements to M-Asia staff and suppliers / producers

· Drive the improvement of quality of samples at all stages of production development

· Provide technical advice to factories to solve production and quality problems

· Make judgement on acceptance and rejection of marginal quality cases

· Execute and supervise on-site quality-audits, evaluate audit findings

· Develop, implement and supervise corrective and preventive actions with factories / producers

· Ensure the continuous improvement process of suppliers and producers

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree holder or equivalent in related field

· Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance

· Experience in leadership is an advantage

· Experience with an international sourcing company / European market is a must

· Experience / working background wit
