Senior IT Manager – IT Infrastructure (Chennai – Teynampet)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, cybersecurity, database administration, deployments, and IT operations. The ideal candidate should have robust technical expertise in enterprise infrastructure along with proven leadership skills to manage IT teams and ensure high system availability.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain physical rack servers, blade servers, and IS server environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
- Perform server allocation, resource planning, storage management, and capacity optimization.
- Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
- Configure and manage firewalls Cisco, etc.).
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, and enterprise networking infrastructure.
- Configure and manage network switches, routers, and access points.




- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues with minimal downtime.
- Handle server deployments, php and dotnet application deployments, and production releases.
- Manage database servers (Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Execute database queries, performance tuning, backups, restoration, indexing, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure regular backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Monitor IT infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools and ensure high availability.
- Implement cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access control policies.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, network diagrams, SOPs, and asset inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, OEMs, and cloud service providers.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution.
